LEADERSHIP HUNTINGTON FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES TUITION DISCOUNT FOR
HUNTINGTON TOWNSHIP CHAMBER OF COMMERCE MEMBERS

Huntington, NY - August 24, 2009 - Leadership Huntington Foundation Board President Sara Bluestone is pleased to announce a $200 tuition discount for its flagship Leadership Huntington leadership training program to business leaders who are members of the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce

Leadership Huntington (LH) is a nine-month interactive educational program focused on developing the leadership capacities of current and emerging leaders. Comprised of a series of intensive in-depth workshops, LH offers “hands-on” problem solving experiences that stimulate a comprehensive view of Huntington’s critical issues. Working intensely with diversely representative community, business, and government leaders, each participant is able to enhance their leadership skills and activate their involvement in community affairs.

“The Leadership Program helped me to define my business goals and objectives, and gave me the tools and confidence to attain them…and I did!”, commented Lawrence Kushnick of Kushnick and Associates, Class of 1997. “Leadership Huntington provides a unique insight into the inner workings of the Town,” added Ed Carr, National Grid Government Relations, Class of 1997, and program facilitator. Everything from business, local government, land use, schools…and how they’re all interrelated. This program is a must for anyone looking to become involved in the community.”

LH is currently accepting applications for the Class of 2010. Interested candidates can download an application at www.leadershiphuntington.org or call (631) 470-3990 for more information. Class slots are limited so don’t delay in informing us of your interest!
