While celebrating it's 90 year history, The League of Women Voters recently honored Leadership Huntington President's Council member Libby Hubbard for being a "Life Member." This award recognizes 50 years of service to the League. In this time, Libby has held leadership roles on both local and state levels. Libby is well known and appreciated by countless organizations in Huntington and beyond. In addition to her long service with organizations like the LWV and Leadership Huntington, which are focused on empowering community members on a very broad level, Libby has been very specifically involved with housing and social justice issues, including playing a key role in helping shape the Huntington Township Housing Coalition, which seeks to increase the availability of housing for low and moderate income individuals through research, public education and advocacy.
