Huntington Community CouncilThe mission of the Huntington Community Council is to provide a forum for the not-for-profit organizations of Huntington to join together for the purpose of mutual education, opportunity, cooperation, collaboration and celebration specifically dedicated to enhance the quality of life for all.
 
As an initiative of the Leadership Huntington Foundation and the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce, the Huntington Community Council was founded in 2004. The HCC is dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Huntington residents now and in the future through collaborative efforts.
 
The council is made up of not-for-profit agencies serving Huntington and other Suffolk County areas in education, arts, health, and human service agencies. All members share a mutual interest in enhancing the visibility for not-for-profit organizations for their diversity, social value and economic strength in community.
