More than 20 years ago, a diverse group of Huntington residents had a vision to create a community leadership program to develop the next generation of trustees to serve the Huntington community. Today, with over 300 graduates, Leadership Huntington and its Flagship Program continue to help impact the future of the town.

We believe the best solutions start locally, with citizens who understand the issues, their communities, and their own vision and values. Leadership Huntington provides that education, fostering individual initiative and community trusteeship, building connections, and inspiring solutions.

Hot Topics

Leadership Huntington seeks to be a source of quality information on local issues, and a bridge between regional thinking and local implementation, as well as between expert analysis and community understanding. We have embarked on an ambitious partnership with Huntington's eight libraries to launch "Community Conversations" -- public events highlighting the potential of libraries to serve as a modern-day public square. We hope you come and engage in these forums for civil discourse on issues important to our lives, or families and our future.
